Scope

This Privacy Notice describes how MediClinIQ (“we”, “us”) processes information within the MediClinIQ MVP, including the Patient Intake and Doctor’s Desk interfaces.

What We Collect

• Patient intake data provided by clinic staff or patients: demographic fields, symptoms, and optional uploads (documents, audio).
• Clinician annotations: status updates, notes, draft protocol actions.
• Technical data: device/browser metadata, timestamps, IP-derived coarse location (when enabled by your deployment), and logs for security/operability.

How We Use Information

• Provide and operate MediClinIQ features (intake, record review, protocol drafting).
• Secure the service (logging, troubleshooting, abuse detection).
• Improve safety and reliability (quality checks, de-identified analytics, where permitted).

Legal Basis

Depending on your jurisdiction and deployment, processing may rely on one or more of: performance of a contract (providing the service), legitimate interests (security, service integrity), or consent where required for optional features (e.g., audio uploads).

Retention

Data is retained for the minimum period needed to provide the service and meet legal or operational obligations. Admins may purge test data in non-production environments.

Sharing

• Within your organization and authorized users for clinical operations.
• Service providers (infrastructure/hosting) under contract and security obligations.
• Legal/regulatory requests where required by law.

Security

We apply administrative, technical, and physical controls appropriate for an MVP clinical tool (e.g., access controls, encrypted transport). No system is perfectly secure; promptly report suspected issues.

Your Choices & Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export certain personal data, or to object/restrict processing. Contact your MediClinIQ administrator to exercise these rights.

Children

MediClinIQ is intended for professional clinical use. It is not directed to children for independent use.

International Transfers

Hosting/processing locations may vary by deployment. Where data moves across borders, appropriate safeguards are applied according to applicable law.
